I was born (1950) and raised at an Israeli Kibbutz, named Mefalsim, located on the border of Gaza strip. I Currently live and work in a town named Rehovot. I am married to Benny Shilo, a professor of Genetics at the Weizamnn Institute of Science, and am a mother to three wonderful kids, and a grandmother of three adorable grandchildren.
During my work life, I was a scientist, a speech and language therapist, the head of a hands-on science museum, and a science and technology curriculum developer.
I have always loved art, but became actively involved in it since 2000. When my first grandson was born, I started making different artistic items as presents. Later, as a result of my enjoyment from this new activity, I have opened a small home-décor business, for hand made products, and named it Artisticolors.
I love recycling and reviving different items. My products are eco-friendly and colorful.
